FLORAL FEST

Each year we participate in a a local neighborhood event in an effort to brighten up the holidays. This year we were thrilled to participate with Shield’s Real Estate. Realtors Mark Rudolph and Lonnie Watts invited us to help ‘deck the halls’ at the Palisades Senior Living Community in Broadmoor Park, Colorado Springs, where we were greeted by some lovely neighbors.

To do our part we gave away free poinsettia’s to each resident and set up several poinsettia trees. A few of the comments we heard were: “I’ve never seen such a unique color.”  “My granddaughter loves poinsettia’s, she’ll be so happy I have one this year.” “You are so wonderful to do this for us.” ….but we went away feeling like we were the lucky ones.
